United Arab Emirates is a federation of seven emirates that is situated in the southeast of the Arabian Peninsula in Southwest Asia. UAE was formed as the result of an unification of self governing emirates, namely Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Sharjah, Dubai, Fujairah, Umm al-Qaiwain and Ras al-Khaimah. This Middle Eastern country borders Oman and Saudi Arabia and also shares its sea borders with Kuwait, Qatar, Iran, Iraq and Bahrain. UAE has a geographical area of around 83,600 square kilometres which also includes an archipelago with an area of about 5,900 square kilometres.

Climate/Weather: The Climate of the United Arabian Emirates can be described as subtropical dry, hot desert climate with low annual rainfall, very high temperatures in summer and a big difference between maximum and minimum temperatures, especially in the inland areas. The coastal areas are sligfhtly influenced by the waters of the Red Sea, and have lower maximum, but higher minimum temperatures and a higher moisture percentage in the air.
